100% Sangiovese, it is a wine of great personality and structure. Intense ruby colour typical of our Sangiovese, but clear and clean in its olfactory cleanliness, spicy and intense. A soft, captivating wine with good acidity and persistence. A wine set on freshness and pleasant drinkability.

  • Harvest: mid-September to end of October
  • Harvest: by hand in small 15 kg crates
  • Vinification: soft destemming and subsequent crushing of the grapes. Soft pressing on racking. Fermentation takes place in cement vats with delestage and pumping over at a controlled temperature of 26°/28°c for 15 days.
  • Ageing: 14/16 months in 500-litre French oak tonneaux and a further 6 months in the bottle
  • Colour: intense ruby typical of our Sangiovese
  • Nose: clear and sharp in its olfactory cleanliness, spicy
  • Taste: soft, captivating, good acidity and persistence. Excellent structure with evident but sweet tannin. Persistent cherry notes in the aftertaste
  • Goes well: Grilled red meat, beef tartare, rostbeef, steaks
  • Serving temperature: 16/18°.
